Presentation of Mary Academy is a private, Catholic, college-preparatory high school. Each year, numerous applications for admission are received, making the acceptance process competitive and selective. Exam fee: $25.00 October 2010 - May 2011Interested students should make appointments to visit Presentation of Mary Academy for an entire school day. Visiting students attend classes, meet teachers, and eat lunch with current PMA students! Shadow Days are always very informative and lots of fun! Shadow days take place throughout the months of October - May. November 1, 2010Applicants should be working on the PMA Application. The Transcript Request Form and Transcript Record Form should be given to a guidance counselor, principal, or eighth grade teacher to be completed and forwarded to the Presentation of Mary Academy Admissions Office. November 13, 2010 and December 11, 2010The High School Entrance Exam is administered at Presentation of Mary Academy. Students must report to the Academy at 8:15 a.m. Testing will be completed by 12:00 p.m. (students choose one testing date only) December 29, 2010Applications and financial aid applications to FACTS tuition aid are due by this date. February 1, 2011Decision letters are mailed on this date. Students’ applications must be complete to receive a decision letter. The following must be on file in the Admissions Office: application, transcript, letters of recommendation, and high school placement test scores. High School Placement Test Information (HSPT) Students currently in the eighth grade who are applying to Presentation of Mary Academy for the 2011-2012 academic year are required to take the High School Placement Test in order to be considered for admission to PMA’s Class of 2015.
The 2010 High School Placement Test is being administered at Presentation of Mary Academy on:
* Saturday, November 13, 2010 from 8:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
* Saturday, December 11, 2010 from 8:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
(students choose ONE testing date only) At PMA we guarantee a familiar classroom environment for testing. Never more than 15 students in a room! Ways to Register for the Test: OPTION I: During the months of October & November, students can register for the Scholastic Testing Service High School Placement Test (HSPT) by stopping by the Presentation of Mary Academy Admissions Office.
