Self-mastery is a long and exacting work. One can never consider it acquired once and for all. It presupposes renewed effort at all stages of life. The effort required can be more intense in certain periods, such as when the personality is being formed during childhood and adolescence.

Campus Ministry is an integral part of the life of students at PMA. Its goal is the daily incorporation of faith into the lives of the students. We begin each day with prayer as a community, and in so doing invite students into a world that cannot be seen, a world that makes sense out of life's ups and downs, a world where they are completely and unconditionally loved. In starting each day by offering our hearts and minds to God, we realize at once how small and yet how great each of us is. We are all human and we all desire the same things, to love and to be loved unconditionally, and the best teacher of that truth is God. In coming to know God, we believe the students can come to know themselves and each other. Self-knowledge is the beginning of self-mastery, a goal we all strive for throughout our lives. It makes us better people, more tolerant, more forgiving, and better able to handle what life hands us. Touching God helps us to be better friends, better students and better teachers.
Presentation of Mary Academy gives our students the unique opportunity to witness and be involved in a life that is definitely out of the ordinary and extraordinary. To have faith is to have a framework that will not crumble or give way. It is there to guide and nourish throughout life and until the end of life. We hope this journey begins or continues with the girls' experiences at Presentation. It can help when they are in situations where they make important and potentially life-altering decisions on their own.
The Campus Ministry Club at Presentation of Mary Academy strives to provide many spiritual, service and social activities in order that our young women may come to know, love and serve God. It is through these activities that these young women will grow to become better citizens who will make a difference in our world!
